Jackson, Wilrna L., CAPT, NNC, USN, 1909-1998. Reminiscences of Captain Jackson, including nurses training at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Ohio; Entered NNC in 1936 and served in USNHS in Philadelphia and Brooklyn, Mare Island and Guam. Recounted experience as POW held by Japanese from December 1941 through August 1942. Supervisor in Guam in 1945; Seived with Navy Department, 1946-1950; At tended Columbia University where she received a B. S. and M. S.
