Rindskopf, Maurice H., RADM, USN, 1917. Typescript of interview with RADM Rindskopf and an autobiographical essay covering thirty-eight years in the Navy, including attendance at USN.A. class of 1938; Service in USS Coler rado, 1938-1940; Attendance at Submarine School in the 1940s and 1950s; Service in USS DRUM, 1941-1944, where he sunk fifteen ships and was awarded the Navy Cross; His service in submarines continued in the postwar era; COMSUBDIV II, 1955-1956; Attended the Naval War College 1956-1957; Served with ONI, 1961-1963, 1965-1967, and with CINCPACJ2, 1967-1969; Retired in 1972; Westinghouse Oceanic Division, 1972-1989; Commentary on changes in the U.S. Naval Academy, the Navy leadership and in the submarine force.
