Scope and Contents
Black and white 5x7 photograph of the new construction of the Naval Hospital, Newport, taken August 1, 1939. Workmen are outside the almost completed building. A pile of debris and building materials are in the center of the phto. The lower level windows of the atrium are not yet installed. The back of the photo is stamped, "This is an official photograph. Property of the Navy Dep." In pen is written "N.E. 40-29".
