Stockdale recounts his time as a POW, including the torture and isolation he experienced. He also discusses the lasting effects of mental abuse, including fear and guilt, as well the enduring effects of physical abuse. The speech is followed up with a Question and Answer period, in which Stockdale addresses topics of interest including current affairs.
Please note that the cassette tape ends abruptly while Stockdale is mid-sentence. This is not an error in digitization.
