Joint Army-Navy intelligence study on the Celebes Sea area, published by the Joint Intelligence Study Publishing Board. The volume was first promulgated on 1944 May 30 and the chapters within this volume were issued as they were available from the printer, which was not necessarily in order. Included in this volume are the following chapters:
- Chapter IX: Resources and Trade
- Chapter X: People and Government
- Chapter XI: Health and Sanitation
It is noted on the inside front and back covers the memorandums that called for destroying chapters XII-XIII.
