Scope and Contents

Handwritten translation by Layton of a volume from the "Senshi Sōsho" (War History Publications), the official military history of Imperial Japan's involvement in World War II.

This is the second part of Layton's translation of Senshi Sōsho volume 83: Nanto Homen Kaigun Sakusen (Naval operations in the South east area, Volume I, up to the beginning of operations to recapture of Guadalcanal).
