This is a notebook compiled specifically to respond to the Assistant Secretary of Defense (Manpower and Reserve Affairs) memorandum of 1974 Oct 7 to service secretaries and the Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman that requested basic background information on Senior Service Schools for the Department of Defense Commitee on Excellence in Education. This report includes information regarding the Naval War College's faculty, student body, curriculum, and associated studies and research.
